MAYETTA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A man suspected of rape and kidnapping in Jackson County has been captured.
Tuesday, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office asked the media to show Clinton Lee McKinney's photo in hopes of catching him. At 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, Sheriff Tim Morse posted the following message on his Facebook page: "Rape suspect Clinton Lee McKinney has been captured. Thank you for your assistance."
The Sheriff's Office said McKinney was wanted on two counts of Rape, as well as counts of Kidnapping, Aggravated Sexual Battery and Domestic Battery.
Sheriff Morse said the accusations stem from two incidents, one on July 26 and one July 28.
