Preliminary Hearing Set For Man Charged In 2010 Fatality Accident

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A preliminary hearing is set for a Meriden man charged with involuntary manslaughter and DUI in connection to a March 2010 fatal accident.

Aaron Meade will appear in court next on January 10, 2014. He was charged in November with four counts.

Meade was driving a pickup north on K-4 highway in March of 2010 when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a southbound car driven by 50-year-old Neil Highsmith.

Highsmith died at the scene.
