Police Investigate Jewelry Heist
TOPEKA, Kan. -- Topeka Police Detectives are investigating a theft of $17,262 from West Ridge Mall, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.
The paper reports the jewelry was taken from a kiosk in the mall Friday. Topeka police say an employee stepped away and the thief struck, taking an assortment of rings and pendants.
