TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man is behind bars following a bank robbery and foot chase.
Employees at Community National Bank at 29th and South Topeka Blvd. told police that a man walked into the bank around 5 pm Tuesday, displayed a weapon and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police used the workers' description to find the suspect. The 20-year old man led police on a short foot chase and was arrested at 31st and Lincoln. The suspect's name has not yet been released.
