MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Manhattan man was arrested for sexual battery Thursday after police say he inappropriately touched two women.
Alvin Jones, 43, was identified by witnesses as the man who allegedly groped the victims at an establishment in northwest Manhattan, Riley County police said.
Officer Matthew Droge, an RCPD spokesman, said the incidents happened February 8, 2013 at 11:30 PM at a business "north of Anderson Avenue but west of Seth Child Road." He declined to provide an exact location of the reported offenses.
Droge says the victims did not know Jones and that Jones was trying to dance with the women when the alleged fondling occurred.
Jones posted bond after his arrest and is out of jail.
