MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Police at Kansas State University say a man has been spotted snapping pictures of women under tables at the library on campus.

The KSU Police Department says they’ve received several reports from witnesses who told them the suspect was using his cell phone camera to take photos which were sexual in nature at Hale Library.

He is described as a black male 5’11-6’0 in his twenties with short hair. One witness told police the suspect was wearing a blue and white striped polo type shirt when they caught him in the act.

“We want students’ privacy to be protected so they can study without having to worry about something like this,” said Captain Don Stubbings with KSU PD.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the K-State Police Department at 785-532-6412. Anonymous tips can be left at www.ksu.edu/police/.
