Police: Alleged Bank Robber Turned In After Relative Sees Him On TV

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE)— Police have arrested a 25-year-old man suspected of robbing a northwest Wichita bank Thursday afternoon.

The Bank of America branch located at 21st and Ridge was robbed shortly before 4 p.m. yesterday. No one was hurt.

About an hour after the robbery, police released a surveillance photo of the suspect. Police reports show that the suspect was brought back to the bank a short time later after he was seen on TV by a relative.

The suspect is 25-year-old Matthew W. Greenlee, and he was booked for robbery of a financial institution. Formal charges are pending.
