Osage County Deputy Honored For Locating Homicide Victim

OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - An Osage County sheriff's deputy was honored for locating 18-month-old Lana Leigh Bailey in Franklin County.

The Osage County News reports Deputy Blake Reker was recognized during a special ceremony Monday.

The girl's mother and two other men were found killed on May 6th near Pomona.

Sheriff Laurie Dunn praised Reker for not only helping the investigation, but for helping Lana-Leigh's family as well by bringing them closure.

Kyle Flack was arrested in connection with the murders. He's being held on a $10 million bond.

A status hearing in the case is scheduled for July 8th.
