New Trial Set For Father Accused In Son's Death
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A new trial date is set for the Topeka father charged with killing his infant son.
The first trial for 31-year-old James Maloun ended in a hung jury in October.
Prosecutors say Maloun shook his seven-month-old son, Gage, causing severe brain injury that led to the child's death in 2007.
A pre-trial hearing is January 10th. The jury trial is scheduled to begin February 18th.
