TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Topeka men pleaded guilty to separate armed robberies.
In one case, 28-year-old Johnnie Lee McCall pleaded guilty to counts of aiding and abetting commercial robbery and aiding and abetting brandishing a firearm related to a March robbery at Little Caesars Pizza on SW 6th. He admits he gave co-defendant Alonzo Lax a firearm and told him to rob the store.
Prosecutors agreed to recommend 15 years in prison when he's sentenced August 19th. Lax previously pleaded guilty and is set for sentencing Aug. 13.
In the second case, 26-year-old Jordan Lucas pleaded guilty to commercial robbery and brandishing a firearm during a February robbery to Baskin Robbins on SW 21st.
Lucas faces 27 years and a $500,000 fine during his sentencing September 3rd.
