McLinn Confessions Will Be Allowed

A recorded confession made by a 19 year old woman accused of murdering her 52 year old roommate will be allowed in court.

Sarah Brooke Gonzales McLinn is charged with premeditated 1st Degree Murder in the death of 52 year old Harold Sasko.

The Lawrence Journal World is reporting that Judge Paula Martin made the ruling during a brief status hearing Thursday morning.

Sasko's body was found January 17th at the home in Lawrence the two shared.

The paper also reports that McLinn's lawyer said the defense had no intention of denying the accounts and will not object to the recordings being played during the trial.

The trial is set to begin January 5, 2015.
