MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A traffic stop in Manhattan led to the arrest of a suspected drug dealer.
Tyrice Johnson, 34, of Manhattan, was stopped in the 600 block of Yuma Street Thursday night, August 9th, 2012 around 10 PM.
Officials say the traffic stop was the part of an ongoing investigation by the Riley County Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit into illegal drug activity in the county.
Johnson was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Possession of Ecstasy with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Hydrocodone and Unlawful Acquisition of Drug Proceeds.
His bond was set at $15,000. On Friday morning, Johnson was confined in the Riley County Jail.
