MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Manhattan man is facing charges stemming from alleged sex offenses involving children.
Jeffery Jepsen, 25, was arrested Tuesday at 10:30 AM near the Manhattan Regional Airport on two Riley County District Court Warrants charging him with Aggravated Incest and Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child.
Riley County police officials say the alleged incest occurred in September of 2010 and the Indecent Liberties charge stems from an alleged incident in October of 2012.
According to police, the case against Jepsen involves two separate victims. The sex and exact age of the victims are not known. Police are releasing few details because of the nature of the crimes.
Jepsen's bond was set at $50,000 and arrest records indicate he is now out of jail on bond as he waits for his case to proceed through the court system.
