MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say an ongoing investigation into the illegal distribution of drugs in the area led them search a Manhattan apartment Wednesday morning.

At noon on August 15, 2012, a search warrant was executed at 722 Thurston Street Apartment #1 and the man who lives there, 30-year-old Lazaro Cabrera, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Misdemeanor) and Use of a Communication Facility to Facilitate Drug Transactions.

His bond was set at $3,000.
