Man Stabs Female Acquaintance
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A man is blamed for stabbing a female acquaintance early Tuesday morning at a Topeka apartment complex.
Topeka Police were first called to Fairlawn Green Apartments to talk with the female victim that had been cut. She told officers she was stabbed at a unit in Sargent Apartments, 2410 SW 22nd, by a man she knows.
Officers went back to the apartment and took the suspect into custody. He's went to the Law Enforcement Center to be questioned by detectives.
The victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for the cut, which was described as non-life threatening.
Authorities ask anyone with information about what happened to call Crime Stoppers at 234-0007.
