TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in a case dating back to May 2007.

27-year-old Ryan Michael Thompson pleaded no contest Tuesday in the death of 18-year-old Zachary Scholl Armold.

CJ Online had reported Thompson was arrested in May for providing illegal substances that resulted in armold's death.

Sentencing is set for September 6th.
