(WIBW) - A Kentucky man was sentenced to 10 months in federal prison after pleading guilty in a counterfeit credit card case.
38-year-old Craig Harris will also have a year on supervised release.
He was stopped by a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper Oct. 29. 2012, in Wabaunsee County. A search of the car turned up a custom card system CCS 2300 credit card embossing machine and 11 envelopes with prepaid Ready Debit Visa cards bearing the names of various individuals.
Investigators also found other cards bearing Harris' name. However, they say the numbers on the cards were not legitimately issued to Harris.
