Man Identified In Local Bank Robbery

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka police have identified the man suspected of robbing a local bank.

Brandon Barrington, 20, was arrested Tuesday night following a short foot chase with officers.

He is being held on charges of aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, felony theft and felony obstruction for a hold up at Community National Bank.

Employees told police a man entered the front door, displayed a weapon and demanded money.

The FBI is now handling the case.
