KU Student Critically Injured After Being Pinned Between Two Cars

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A KU student suffered critical injuries after being pinned between two vehicles early Sunday morning.

Highlights

-  1600 block of Tennessee Street, 1:30 a.m., Sunday

-  Colby Liston, 18, critically injured

-  Alcohol was present; blood tests are pending

Police were called to the 1600 block of Tennessee Street just before 1:30 Sunday morning on reports of an injury accident.

Colby Liston, 18, was walking behind his friends car, getting ready to get in, when he was hit by another car driven by 21 year old KU student Julian Kuszmaul.

The Lawrence Journal World states that Liston lost both his legs in the accident.

Alcohol was present in those involved in the accident and blood tests are pending.
