TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas Highway Patrol will conduct a checklane beginning Friday night into early Saturday morning. They'll only say it will be somewhere in Shawnee County.
Troopers are looking to get impaired drivers off the roads and deter people from drinking and driving.
KHP reminders people that when anyone is too impaired to drive, they should call a cab or a friend to pick them up.
They also remind people to always buckle-up.
