TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -On Sunday August 26, 2012 at about 4 p.m., officers were called to the 900 block SW Randolph Ave. after a witness reported hearing a gunshot and someone saying, “you just shot me!”

Police located Antwan Fulton, 30, Topeka at 10/Randolph. He lives in the 900 block of SW Randolph Ave. and told police he was not shot but had been pistol whipped. He told police 3 B/M’s entered his residence through the front door, rummaged through the house and drug him to the backyard.

Mr. Fulton said he was able to kick the gun from one black males hand before being able to run off. Fulton said one shot was fired at him as he was running away. Police recovered a handgun stolen from Osage County in the backyard where Mr. Fulton resides.
