On May 12th, shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of an assault and theft in front of a business at SW 6th and SW Lane. The victim was beaten by two unknown black males and had his bicycle taken from him.
During the course of the investigation, related surveillance footage was discovered and the Topeka Police Department is seeking information on the person of interest in the attached photos (white shirt, shaved head). The subject was seen entering and leaving in a red 1990’s Ford Explorer 4 door vehicle.
