Gunman Tries To Rob Manhattan Domino's

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say an armed man who attempted to rob a Manhattan Domino's ended up leaving empty-handed.

Around 8:35 PM Monday, a man armed with two guns walked into the Domino's at 2020 Tuttle Creek Boulevard.

Police say the suspect had the handguns in the waistband of his pants and did not point the weapons at any of the employees but demanded money.

When the workers told him they did not have keys to access any money inside the business, the gunman left in what was described as a silver Silverado pick-up truck in a southeast direction.

He is described as a young white man, approximately 5'6" with brown spiked hair and blonde highlights, wearing a black and white bandanna over his face, a black hoodie with the hood up and jeans.

The attempted robbery is under investigation. No one was injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Riley County Police Department at 785-537-2112.
