Lawsuits filed in a wrongful death case over a gas explosion have been merged for now.

81 year old Lucinia Tolliver died when her west Topeka home exploded due to a gas leak.

Her daughter, Erin Thurston, filed three lawsuits in connection to the case against Factory Direct Appliance and an employee, Kansas Gas Service and N-Line Lawn Service of Wetmore.

The Topeka Capital Journal reports the cases will be consolidated only during the the legal process of discovery, meaning they can all get evidence from each other.
