Four Arrested In Ogden Drug Bust

RILEY COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police took two men and two women into custody after officers raided an Ogden residence looking for drugs.

On Saturday, June 1, 2013 around 8:30 PM, a search warrant was conducted at a home on Ashwood Alley- what officials say was the result of an investigation into illegal narcotics. A hazmat team also responded to the scene.

Mark Whitt, 39, of Wamego, and Cynthia Reed, 39, who lives at the home that was raided, were arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Michael Baker, 50, who also lives at the home that was searched, and Melissa Frakes, 26, of Wamego, were arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Endangerment.

A one-year-old boy found inside the home was taken into protective custody pending court rulings.

All four suspects were being held in the Riley County Jail on $10,000 as of Monday morning.

No other details on the investigation were released.
