Former Topeka Council Member Arrested For D.U.I.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- A former Topeka City Councilman has been arrested for driving under the influence.

Former District 8 Councilman Andrew Gray was booked into
Shawnee County Corrections at 12:26 a.m. after being arrested for D.U.I.

Police say Gray was stopped in the 2700 block of Arrowhead around 11:15 p.m. He was cooperative with officers and taken into custody without incident.

Gray resigned from the Topeka City Council on May 13th after serving just over two years on the council.

Gray cited personal health concerns and health concerns for a family member as his reasons for stepping down.
