Exhibit Vandalized At K-State Art Museum

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- The Kansas State University Police Department is investigating a report of vandalism to an outdoor art exhibit called "Scholar's Rock," located on the exterior grounds of the Beach Museum of Art on campus.

According to museum staff, sometime between September 10-11th 2012 an unknown person damaged the exhibit by re-arranging stones and knocking down stones of the piece of art.

The loss is estimated at $5,000 which is the cost to have the artist re-assemble the exhibit. Anyone with information about this crime or any other crime should contact the K-State Police Department at 785-532-6412. Anonymous tips can be left at our silent witness www.ksu.edu/police/silent.
