BROWN COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) -- KQ2 reports that Eugene Kimmi was arrested for violating parole on his 3rd felony DUI.
Eugene is the ex-husband of Patricia Kimmi, the rural Atchison County woman who was killed in November 2009.
KQ2 reports the arrest came after authorities searched Eugene Kimmi's home. They wouldn't say why they searched the house.
The report says Eugene Kimmi is free on $5,000 bond.
Authorities had named Eugene Kimmi as a person of interest in the death of Patricia Kimmi, but he has never been charged.
Roger Hollister was convicted of capital murder in Kimmi's death and sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole. Prosecutors said it was part of a contract killing. A special inquisition in the case was opened in June 2011.
