TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police are investigating whether a Tuesday night shooting was linked to a shooting

Police say 28-year old Christopher Hayes was dropped off at local emergency room around 7 pm Tuesday with a gunshot wound. Police say their investigation determined he was injured in the 700-block of SW Lincoln.

Police say Hayes told officers he was shot by man in a minivan with similar description to the one seen fleeing a shooting in the 3000 block of SE Indiana Tuesday afternoon. A woman was driving the vehicle.
