TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- Jurors delivered a guilty verdict in Tuesday the trial for the driver in an accident that killed a 15-year-old girl.
Jurors deliberated two and a half hours before convicting 19-year-old Hunter Hillmer of Reckless Second Degree Murder. He also was found guilty of aggravated battery, drunk driving and reckless driving.
Hillmer was driving a vehicle that went off a road, rolled and hit a tree on March 19.
One passenger, Madison Naill, was killed. A second passenger and Hillmer were both injured.
Hillmer faces nine years in prison. A sentencing date wasn't set Tuesday.
