TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A defendant in the Natalie Gibson murder case has been convicted of aggravated robbery in a separate case.
Michael Wilkins, 23, was found guilty of stealing a wallet and cell phone from a man last June.
Prosecutors say Wilkins threatened bodily harm and was armed with a handgun during the robbery.
Sentencing is set for February 1.
Wilkins' trial on charges related to the Gibson murder is set for April 2.
