Cutting Sends Man To Hospital
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A cutting injury sent a Topeka man to the hospital Wednesday.
Officers responded just after 5 pm to the 200 block of SE 13th St. They found 50-year-old Daniel Hutchinson in his truck, with a knife wound.
Hutchinson told officials he was helping his ex-wife move when he became involved in a physical altercation with another individual. The injury was initially believed life threatening, but his condition was later upgraded.
Police say the person responsible for the cutting was located and brought to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning. Officers will send the case to the Shawnee Co. District Attorney's office for review of any possible charges.
