The condition of a man shot at a Topeka gas station a week ago continues to improve.
A spokeswoman at Stormont-Vail HealthCare says 36-year-old Bryon Snyder was upgraded to satisfactory condition.
Snyder was shot last week Monday, June 30, at the BP near SW Huntoon and Lane. Police say he and two other men were trying to help a woman who was being chased.
Snyder suffered initially critical gunshot injuries to his heart, liver, a lung and a hand.
Daniel Cregut, 51, faces 16 felony counts in connection to the incident, including attempted first degree murder and kidnapping. He remains jailed on $1 million bond.
