TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The woman convicted of killing her ex-husband and his fiance has asked to postpone sentencing.
Dana Chandler filed a hand-written motion Wednesday asking the August 20th date be postponed. The date would have been her 30th wedding anniversary to Mike Sisco.
Jurors convicted Chandler of the July 2002 shooting deaths of Sisco and Karen Harkness in Harkness' Topeka home.
The state is seeking a "Hard 50" sentence.
Chief Judge Nancy parrish will hear arguments on the motion Thursday.
