TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Topeka City Council's Policy and Finance Committee voted to recommend removing a ban on guns in moving cars.
The committee heard what people had to say about carrying weapons in vehicles before voting three to zero to pass the motion.
During a November City Council meeting, Police Chief Ron Miller told city officials he supported keeping the ban in place.
The committee's recommendation will now go to the full council.
