TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Authorities say a series of raids in Topeka and Olathe Wednesday and Thursday netted five arrests and a variety of drugs.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation released the information Friday. They say agents executed three search warrants in Topeka and one in Olathe linked to Operation ADABAG. The 13-month investigation based largely in Geary and Riley counties targed a major crack cocaine ring.

At least one of the Topeka warrants was served Thursday afternoon at a home near SE 32nd and Michigan.

Details of the operation were first released last week. On May 8th and 9th, the Geary County Attorney’s Office, Junction City Police Department, Geary County Sheriff’s Office, Riley County Police Department, Grandview Plaza Police Department, and the KBI announced 54 search warrants were served and 90 people were arrested.

During the Topeka and Olatha raids, the KBI says agents seized cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and pills, plus two loaded handguns and four vehicles. In addition to the arrests, one child was placed in protective custody.

The latest raids bring the operation to the following levels:
58 search warrants executed in four counties
18 children displaced
18 firearms seized
$42,907.63 seized
23 vehicles seized
100 persons arrested

The KBI says additional arrests are expected.
