TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A helicopter and K9 unit were called in to help law enforcement officers track down a man on the run Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called around 2:30 p.m. to the area of SW 65th and Crestwood Drive, in south Topeka's Montara neighborhood.

The Kansas Highway Patrol helicopter and K9 units were called to provide help in the search.
A description of the man is not being released to 13 News, but the Topeka Capital-Journal reports authorities were looking for 34-year-old David Epling, who is wanted on a probation violation.
Records show he was convicted in August 2012 of aggravated battery.
