Arrests Made In Synthetic Drug Distribution Raid

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two people have been arrested in the seven month investigation into the sale of synthetic drugs known as "potpourri".

The KBI executed ten search warrants in Wichita, Emporia, El Dorado, and Arkansas City.

Officers purchased the drug from Blitzed Detox Shop in Emporia as well as All Out Detox and Price Right Smoke Shop in El Dorado.

More potpourri, drug paraphernalia and cash was seized with the warrants. A potpourri packaging operation was also found.

Two suspects, Benjamin Huff and Jonathan Pope, are under arrest in the raids, which agents say should net them even more arrests.
