Armed Robbery Suspect Makes First Court Appearance

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The suspect in a string of Topeka armed robberies made his first court appearance Wednesday.

Arthur Crain, 27, was arrested Monday night following a traffic stop near 6th and Quincy.

Highlights

Arthur Crain charged with three counts of aggravated robbery in court Wednesday

-  Being held at the Shawnee County Jail on a $500,000 bond

-  Next court appearance is set for December 5

Police believe Crain may be connected to several robberies, including one at a Domino's pizza two weeks ago, during which a female employee was sexually assaulted.

He was formally charged with three counts of aggravated robbery in court Wednesday.

Crain is being held at the Shawnee County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

His next court appearance is set for December 5.
