A Riley County Police Department Narcotics Officer who is facing theft and misconduct charges will make his first court appearance in two weeks.
Officer Mark Bylkas will set foot in the court room on June 18th to make a plea in his case.
Bylkas was arrested on two felony misconduct charges and one theft charge.
Director Brad Schoen said Bylkas was on suspension at the time of this arrest and will remain on suspension pending completion of the criminal investigation.
The KBI and attorney general’s office are assisting in the investigation.
