Ogden (WIBW) - A meth bust in Ogden Thursday landed two people behind bars and put the town's elementary school on lockdown.
Riley County authorities say they executed a search warrant at 320 13th St. Thursday morning. They and the KBI been investigating the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The home is located near Ogden Elementary School. Students were sent home with a note saying the school was put on lockdown for the day, not because of any problems at the building, but because of law enforcement activity in the area. Several neighbors told 13 News authorities were still working at the home at 6:30 pm.
26-year old Audie Austin and 24-year old Amy Towles were arrested on drug charges. They each are being held on $50,000 bond.
