Topeka (WIBW) - A 23-year old Topeka woman was sentenced Monday for her role in a police chase that turned fatal.
Ariezanna Williams was sentenced to 283 months in prison or about 23 and a half years.
Williams pleaded guilty to second degree murder and DUI in January.
Thanksgiving morning last year, Williams led police on a chase north across the Topeka Boulevard Bridge. She crashed near Morse Street, the wreck killing one passenger.
Following the accident, authorities say Williams had a blood alcohol content of .19.
