A Topeka man has pleaded guilty to the February shooting of a Topeka bartender.
CJOnline reports 23 year-old Howard Dale Burchfiel pleaded guilty to attempted first degree murder, and aggravated assault.
Burchfiel also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in an unrelated case.
As part of a plea deal, a charge of making a criminal threat was dismissed.
Walter Creviston was shot while he was bartending at the Pub Tavern on February 27th.
Sentencing is set for November 4th.
