Hooper Ruled Not Fit For Trial Yet

A man charged with killing a Jefferson Co. farmer will be heading back to Larned State Hospital for more evaluation.

A judge ruled Thursday that Adam Hooper will return to the security hospital for no more than ninety days.

Hooper is accused of killing Dale Kingsbury in August.

He will then return to the Jefferson Co. courthouse for another competency hearing.

A Larned psychologist testified that currently Hooper could not understand the proceedings against him or participate in his defense.
