Man Bound Over In Incident That Left Child Burned

The man accused of seriously burning one-year old Fabian Hackett will stand trial.

CJ Online reports a judge Monday bound over Jason Lopez on three counts of aggravated battery with intent to cause great bodily harm.

Lopez was babysitting Fabian on April 11th, while Fabian's mother was at work. Police say, while he was in Lopez' care, Fabian suffered a skull fracture and third-degree burns on 70 percent of his body.

Lopez will be arraigned September 28th. A trial date isn't set yet.
