A Michigan man will spend five years behind bars for flying into Salina with almost 300 pounds of marijuana on his plane.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Aaron Hartwell stopped in Salina for fuel while en route to Michigan.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office searched the plan and discovered the marijuana, following a tip from authorities in California.
