A former Goddard police officer pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud charges Wednesday. According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Calvin Schaffer contacted a woman he arrested on DUI charges in February and claimed he could get the charges dismissed in exchange for sex.
He was accused of using department computers to send her emails and photographs, including some where he was partially undressed or nude.
Schaffer faces up to twenty years in prison and a quarter-million dollar fine.
