Topeka (WIBW) - Topeka Police Chief Ron Miller says authorities are treating the discovery of a body along the Kansas River Thursday night as a homicide.
Police have identified the body as 34 year-old Jeremy Fabricius.
An anonymous tip to 13 News through its answering service helped police find Fabricius just before 4:30 pm Thursday along the Kansas River near the Sardou bridge.
Miller says the body might not have been easily spotted without direction. He says the river dike is a secluded area and creates issues with the terrain.
