LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP) _ The capital murder trial of a Lansing man accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend has been delayed until November.

Sedale L. Fox, 24, was scheduled for trial in September in the Jan. 22, 2008, death of Olivia Jackson, which also caused the death of her unborn child.

The 20-year-old Jackson, who was due to deliver her baby in March of last year, was shot to death inside Fox's mobile home in Lansing.

Fox also is accused of plotting to kill Jackson in a Jan. 11, 2008, bombing in Leavenworth.

A Leavenworth County District Court on Thursday granted a defense motion to continue the trial for Fox, who is charged with capital murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

One of Fox's attorneys, Ron Evans, said during the hearing that the State Board of Indigents' Defense Services has no money for things such as experts, delaying preparation for the trial.
