Authorities have a suspect in custody for the shooting of a man in Pottawatomie County.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office got a 911 call just before 12:30 pm Thursday that a man had been shot in the area of 8115 Junietta Road. The Sheriff says the caller said he had an altercation with another person and had shot him.
Authorities say the victim drove into Manhattan, where he stopped at Tuttle Creek Boulevard and was then taken to a Manhattan hospital by ambulance.
60 year-old Robert L. Bellinger of rural Manhattan is being held at the Pottawatomie County Jail for attempted murder, aggravated battery and criminal threat.
Authorities say Bellinger and the victim were related, but they declined to reveal their relationship. Information on the victim's condition was not available.
